But maybe increasing its life is a better idea. The only issue is, what would be used up in he repair process? Then after that you have a broken item, which can be fixed but only 30% of the time can kill a zombie but can't hurt a boss.Д®very teir you can repair them to make them go up a teir. Then you have a Dull version, where at times hitting a zombie only knocks them down or stops them from attacking. Then you have a used item, basically just kills like it normally does but a little less PP. First you have your weapon at it's best, it does way more damage and maybe has a chace to do something real special on the zombies/looter/bosses. The best way to make this degrigation of item thing properly work would be to make a weapon damage teir system. Worst thing is when you make an amazing weapon and it can only kill like 40-50 zombies before it's gone.Д«ut personally. In this game, i seem to spend more time running to a maintance room than fighting zombies just so i can make that cool weapon. I liked it and could slightly abuse it in DR1, but it was still a viable tactic. Personally i would like them to add in more books like in the first game, so you at least need to take up a slot to give you three times the duration with items. They should have intergrated more melee attacks/ damaged like an 'equitable' version or something. I agree on the punching, especially with the cyborg. you could only bash a coat hanger or foam finger so many timese lol After all, it would actually make sense for these items. Plastic/ Weak items: 6-9 Decay Level which equates to the normal breakdown item they currently have for EVERY item in the game. but I'll give them some leaway for slow lumbering zombie heads) The blood/ zombie sluge would start to weaken the wood over time (it takes a 110 mph fast pitch to break a bat. Wood: 3-5 Decay Level Will break down over time with continued use. Metal: 0-1 Decay Level Smashing in/ slicing countless decaying and already weak/ fragile sculls is not going to mess these bad boys up! Hahah, right?
